ABOUT OUR SCANS

• Classic:

  Of import for basic web use, simple editing, and fine print output. These scans are 4×6″ at 300dpi (1200 x 1800) which produces an uncompressed file size of it of 6mb.

• HI-RES:

  Perfect for editing and enlarging. These scans are 8×12″ at 300dpi (2400 x 3600) which produces an uncompressed file size of 25mb.

  *Most popular option and recommended for most applications.

• ULTRA HI-RES / MAX:

  Nonesuch for redaction and large format impression. These scans are up to 12×18″ at 300dpi (3600 x 5400) which produces an uncompressed file size of 56mb. Georgia home boy is only available for 35mm and only advisable for those World Health Organization intend to produce prints that are16×24″ or bigger.

We do all of our film scanning using our Fuji Frontier SP 3000 Scanner. Victimized as a professional and commercial electronic scanner, the SP 3000 produces top of the phone line quality and results, handling 35mm and 120 formats, Color (C-41) and B&W. The scanner uses Digital ICE to remove small fry scratches and dust (this technology does not work with B&W negatives, but every effort is made to keep your B&W scans as dust resign as conceivable.)

By default, all scans are delivered in JPEG data formatting. If you would like your scans delivered as TIFFS, delight note that there is an additional tip of $2 per 120 roll and $3 per 35mm roll. Please also note that QTY discounts do not apply and turn around time may beryllium longer for delivery of TIFF files.

We perform density and color corrections according to the pic you are using and light situations. Please let us know if you opt a sealed color profile or if you would equivalent absolutely no corrections.

DEVELOP Lone

We develop all current formats of film including: 35mm, 120 in B&W and Emblazon (C-41), 4×5 sheets in B&W, as well as E6 Cross-Processing. Basic color-negative film development is performed using our Fuji FP563SC AL processor. B&W film is hand cured in our lab using Ilford Ifotec DD-X take developer.
